Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Agreement

By using this website or engaging Hamm's Tree Service for work, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.

2. Estimates & Scope

Estimates are based on the trees and conditions visible at the time of the walkthrough. Concealed defects (rot, embedded metal, hidden utilities) may require change orders. Any change in scope will be discussed and approved before extra work begins.

3. Payment

Payment is due once work is complete and you're satisfied. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A separate written agreement may apply to large or commercial jobs.

4. Insurance & Safety

We are fully insured for general liability and workers' compensation. Tree work is inherently hazardous; please keep people, pets, and vehicles outside of the work area during the job.

5. Property Access

You confirm that you own the property (or have the owner's permission) and that you've identified any underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation, or invisible fencing that may be affected by the work.

6. Website Use

Content on this site is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of any specific outcome. We may update or change site content at any time.

7. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by North Carolina law, our liability for any claim related to a job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

9. Text Messaging Terms

Hamms Tree Experts LLC (dba Hamm's Tree Service) offers text messaging to customers who provide their mobile number and opt in. Messages are transactional and relate to your estimate request, scheduled work, or completed job.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP. To request assistance, reply HELP or call (919) 641-3064. For information on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
