A few days later, his team did a great job taking down a large sweetgum that was rotten at the base. It was more rotten than it appeared from the outside so I’m glad it was removed before the next wind storm. David’s crew worked quickly and professionally and also trimmed several other branches that were overhanging the house and shed. I called a couple of tree services to look at a poplar that looked like it had a problem. David came out and told me the poplar tree was ok but I had two maples in the front that were starting to hollow out. I didn’t need to do anything right now but at some time I would need to take them down. I decided to go ahead and have them removed. Also had a maple in the back that was close to the house and leaning over the roof. I had this one taken down on a return trip. David and crew did a great job both times.
